February is "I love to read" month!

Westview will be celebrating our love of reading with themed "dress-up" days each Friday in February!

Friday, February 5th, "Reading is a Bright Idea!" - Dress in neon or bright colors!

Friday, February 19th, "Flashlight Friday!" - Bring a flashlight and read a book with the lights off!

Friday, February 26th," Dress like a Book Character Day!" -  Dress as your favorite book character!

"I Love to Read Month" Checklist and Prize Drawing:

Students may also complete an "I Love to Read" month checklist of activities. Students may turn in their completed checklists to Mrs. Theirl in the Library to be entered into a drawing for a "Book and Reading Prize Package," awarded to one student in each grade! All students are encouraged to participate in both the dress-up days and the reading checklist. Digital Academy students may submit their checklists to the main office or send a photo to Mrs. Theirl. The checklist can be found in the Bulldog Bulletin, on the Westview website's library page, and will be sent home in Friday folders. All checklists should be submitted by February 26th to be entered into the drawing!
