Band

Hello! I am Mariah Meyers and I am the Band Teacher at Westview Elementary. 5th Grade band is an incredible opportunity for students at Westview to build brain cells, make new friends, and experience the power of music and synergy.

A little background on me: I was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa and attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN from 2010-2014, where I earned a degree in Music Education. My band journey began in 5th grade when I decided to play the flute. Since then, my life has been filled with band and various musical ensembles, ranging from Choirs, to Jazz Bands and Orchestras. My involvement in music has brought me my closest friends, fondest memories and greatest challenges. I am excited to share similar experiences with your child.
